Kåbdalis!

Last year when Isak was only a few weeks old we went on a ski trip for 2 nights with 4 other families. We decided to make a yearly tradition of it. This year one more family was added so we stayed in 3 cabins, two families in each cabin. We had a really really great time. The weather wasn't the best the first 2 days but it really didn't matter. The last day we woke up to a blue sky so at least we got a little bit of sun before we headed back to Luleå again.
Isak and Lykke sleeping in their prams in front of the ski slope.
Jakob went up and down the slope with his friends about 200 times but he also did some slalom skiing. On the last day Jakob and I did about 5 runs and he was amazing! such a big difference from the weekend before. Hopefully he will be able to go by himslef soon.

Day 2 in Kåbdalis

Isak looked good in his new goggles.

One of the highlights on the weekend was our night play in the slope. These photos were taken around 7.30pm. The slope was closed but all the adults and the children had a great time playing.

Tired boys having fun in the evening.

Day 1 at Kåbdalis

The kids (and Zara) playing in the snow in the afternoon. We all had Friday off work and got there just after lunch.

There is nothing better than cabin life, especially after a day in the snow!

My favourite outfit stayed on the whole weekend!

Leaving Australia

This photo of Jakob together with his grandma and poppa was taken in Gawler the day we were leaving Australia.
Leaving people you like is always hard and saying goodbye to everyone at the airport was very sad. Oscar and Jakob had a great time though, running around chasing each other, throwing sultanas on the floor, or just enjoying each others company looking at the planes. Before we went in to the international terminal Jakob got a BIG hug from Oscar.

The long journey to Sweden went really really well and Jakob was amazing. On the first flight to Singapore he didn't sleep at all but he was happy pretty much the whole time and had a ball running up and down the aisles and flirting with people. At the airport in Singapore he kept going strong until he fell and hit his head and cried himself to sleep on Adam's shoulder. He slept on the floor until it was time to board and then slept more or less the whole flight to London, with only a couple of wake ups to eat.
